Living.IN-EU

Living-in.EU is an EU initiative that brings together local and regional leaders who believe that digital technologies, used responsibly, can improve quality of life in their towns, cities, and regions. Grounded in European values and cooperation, it enables public authorities to collaborate, avoid working in isolation, and benefit from shared smart city strategies, common standards, and reusable digital solutions.

The Go Li.EU project supports and strengthens the Living-in.EU movement by establishing an effective governance structure and reinforcing collaboration across all levels of government. Its main objective is to coordinate, expand, and empower the multi-level governance community built around the five commitments of the Join, Boost, Sustain declaration, while curating practical tools, resources, and solutions that help cities and communities accelerate their digital transformation.

To achieve this, the project operates through five thematic Working Groups: Financial, Legal, Education & Capacity Building, Monitoring & Measuring, and Technical, which bring together experts and city representatives to co-develop guidance, share best practices, and support the implementation of the Living-in.EU principles across Europe.
