Roelof is the CEO of MoBaaS, a company focused on parking optimisation. He is also the former Parking Manager and Director of Off-Street Parking for Leiden Municipality. He holds a Master’s in Logistics and Economics and is a Master Black Belt in Six Sigma.

He started his career at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, becoming responsible for Parking and Mobility Services. His achievements there included the first EU parking reservation tool, a global revenue management system, and developing strategies to influence customer behaviour.

He then became the Director of Parking at the Municipality of Amsterdam, where he gained valuable insights into government operations. Over the last decade, he has founded multiple companies and advised organisations globally on MaaS solutions and strategic direction.

For the past four years, Roelof has served as the General Secretary for the MaaS Alliance. He advocates for a new Global Mobility Framework, creating tools and services for public authorities to build a safer, more sustainable, and more pleasant public domain for all.
