Eoin is the National Programme Director at the Dargan Institute and a Government Adviser to the Enterprise Digital Advisory Forum in Ireland. He is a passionate digital innovator who has authored three books on digital transformation for local communities and small businesses. In 2022, he was recognised as Ireland’s Local Digital Hero – IE Digital Town Awards 2022.

Eoin’s work focuses on redefining communities as hubs for sustainable jobs, innovation, and collaboration. He has directed national initiatives like the Startup Gathering and the Connected Hubs Showcase Day. His book, ‘Digital First Communities, a better way to live and work,’ received the Minister’s Medal from the Chair of the OECD’s ‘Digital 4 SMES’ Roundtable.

As CEO of Startup Ireland, he led the country’s national start-up week, and he was also an award-winning manager at the TUDublin Hothouse incubation centre. Eoin’s entrepreneurial background includes growing Novara Technology from his home to over 10,000 customers before its sale.
