Cefriel is a digital innovation center founded in 1988 through public and private collaboration to support companies and public administrations in their digital transformation, in order to create value, enhance the economic system competitiveness, and promote the transition to sustainable growth models.
Cefriel organically integrates research, technology transfer, innovation, and education into a unique business model to promote competitiveness, as well as knowledge and skills development.
The center, not-for-profit, has been a Benefit Corporation since 2023, to help generate a positive impact on society, the country system, and the environment, thanks to digital innovation.
Cefriel brings over three decades of experience in digital innovation, research, and education, making it a pivotal contributor to the SMARCO project. Cefriel’s expertise in developing and delivering high-quality training programs, particularly in the field of transformation, ensures the creation of effective and relevant curricula. Their strong ties with industry and academia facilitate the integration of practical insights and cutting-edge research into the training materials. Additionally, Cefriel’s experience in managing large-scale EU projects and their role in business communities and clusters for technology will enhance the project’s implementation and outreach efforts.
